Privacy Policy

Introduction.  Aethra Corp. cares deeply about the privacy of its visitors and clients.  This Privacy Policy describes how we may collect, use and share Personal Information (as defined herein), as well as an explanation of the data rights you may have in such information.  This Privacy Policy applies to all visitors to AethraGroup.org (“Website”).  This Privacy Policy is intended to apply to the extent required by applicable privacy laws, and is not intended to override the terms of any contract you have with us.

c. To provide assistance and support;

Anonymized, De-Identified and Aggregated Information; Automated Decision-Making.  We may collect and use anonymized, de-identified and aggregated information to the extent permitted by applicable law.  We may use automated decision-making techniques to help us improve the Website, and to monitor, identify and block users that send spam or engage in other abusive or fraudulent activity, provided that we (i) still have a human involved in the process (and so are not fully automated); or (ii) use such decision making in ways that don’t have significant privacy implications (for example, filtering incoming emails so that they divert to email client spam folders).

6. Grounds for Processing.  Some jurisdictions may require us to have legal grounds for processing Personal Information.  Where applicable law requires us to justify our processing activities, we rely on the following legal bases:

Opting Out.  Where required under applicable data privacy laws, we will not send any promotional materials to you unless you have opted in to receive such materials.  You may opt out of having your Personal Information used for such purpose by contacting us as provided in the Contact section below.  You may also unsubscribe from marketing email lists at any time by clicking the unsubscribe button in the corresponding email.  We reserve the right to contact you regarding this Privacy Policy or any other policies, contracts or agreements relevant to you.

Children’s Personal Information.  We do not knowingly solicit or collect Personal Information online from children.  If we learn that a child under the age of 13 (or such other age relevant to applicable children’s privacy laws) has submitted Personal Information online without parental consent, we will take all reasonable measures to delete such information from our databases and to not use such information for any purpose (except where necessary to protect the safety of the child or others as required or allowed by law).  If you become aware of any Personal Information provided from a child under 13, please contact us as provided in the Contact section below.

Third-Party Service Providers.  We may disclose your Personal Information to third-party service providers, including without limitation web-hosting companies, vendors, analytics providers, event-hosting services, information technology providers, auditors, and other professional advisors and consultants, and others only with your consent or at your discretion, in each case only for the purposes described herein.  Additionally, our Website may utilize services provided by third parties to which you may provide Personal Information, such as social media integration with, for example, LinkedIn, Facebook, X or Instagram, or cloud-based service providers, such as Google, which may have privacy policies that differ from this Privacy Policy.  This Privacy Policy does not address the privacy, security or other practices of such third parties to which you provide Personal Information via our Website, and we are not responsible for their respective activities and practices.  Accordingly, we recommend that you review any privacy policies of such third-parties on any external site before disclosing any Personal Information using such services.  Please contact such third parties directly if you have any questions about their privacy policies and practices.

 

11. Website Hosting.  Our Website is hosted on the Wix.com platform (“Wix”).  Your data, including Personal Information, may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and applications.  This Privacy Policy does not address Wix’s privacy, security or other practices, and we are not responsible for Wix’s policies, activities and practices.  Accordingly, we recommend that you review Wix’s privacy policies before disclosing any Personal Information.  Please contact Wix directly if you have any questions about its policies, activities or practices.

 

12. Security.  We use reasonable organizational, technical and administrative measures to prevent the unauthorized release of or access to Personal Information.  All information you provide to us is securely stored and we take reasonable measures to transmit your Personal Information securely.  We are not responsible for any third-party software or hardware security vulnerabilities.  For more secure communication, we may recommend or require that you utilize one or more web or software applications.

 

13. Retention.  We will only retain your Personal Information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise received by us, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting or reporting requirements.  To determine the appropriate retention period for your Personal Information, we consider the amount, nature and sensitivity of your Personal Information, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure of your Personal Information, the purposes for which we process your Personal Information and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means, and the applicable legal requirements, including statute of limitation periods.

15. Changes.  We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time, including as required to keep current with rules and regulations, new technologies and security standards.  When we do, we will post the changes on our Website and display an effective date at the top of the revised policy so that it will be easier for you to know when there has been a change.  If we change this Privacy Policy in a material manner, we will use reasonable efforts to provide notice to you before such changes take effect.
